To whom it may concern :
The mission of DCHS inc. is this: to push peace, love and happiness as far around the Bowen ranch as possible.
Why some are oppossed to this is puzzling ?
Objectives and purposes :
The government agencies who manage public lands have a policy of increasingly relying on private providers of essential facilities and services, thus the general public could be excluded from the public lands by the lack of essential facilities and services. This corporation (DCHS) is organized to operate the historic Bowen Ranch which provides public access to the San Bernardino National Forest and the Deep Creek Area. The Bowen Ranch has been operated as a criminal enterprise for the past 25 years. DCHS intends to operate the Bowen Ranch as a center for the public benefit promoting free reasonable public access to the public lands.

Two : This corporation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes. The specific purposes for which this corporation is organized are to provide education to the general public on how to use the public lands, reduce the area's tensions, defend human/civil rights secured by law. and to maintain and provide services and facilities to meet the needs of the general public when accessing a remote area.

It puzzles me why anyone would oppose this. )
