The story I heard about the trail is the one you told me, both in person and through this forum. So, yes, you are right that it is just a story...yours...and I have no proof whatsoever.

As for Katrina, I've said this before but you don't seem to get it. You don't think that Katrina needs any proof to accuse someone of attempted murder among other things, but you think I need proof that they are wrong. Poor logic, Wizard. Even if they were right about any of what they say, I think it is wrong of them to conduct a years-long campaign against Mike Castro on the internet. And, yes, I find the motivation of attempting to gain control of property that does not belong to them, and that someone else paid for, to be one of the most distasteful aspects of their crusade. And why do you say that I don't know anything? Do you have proof of that?

I agree that DCV should be doing more productive things than unstacking rocks, regardless of who stacked them. That is why I asked DCR to clarify...why was she making all these posts about how awful she thinks the rock stacks are on this thread? The first time I asked her to clarify, and invited her to have it put on the agenda if that is what she was after, she ignored my question and proceeded to call rock stacking "litter."

Do you take all of my unanswered questions for anger? Come now, Wizard, wouldn't it be more fair, forthcoming and, yes, friendly of you to try to give an answer to my questions? After all, I do the same for you.

I am not trying to go on about this, but if you notice I am responding to the questions and comments about it, and not just ignoring questions I don't like. I think it would have been rude of me to ignore DCR, and remiss not to ask her for clarification.

Since you say that the USFS probably "hardly notice the stacks," I still wonder why you asked about the legality of the activity according to the USFS? That was your question...and I answered it.

I find nothing at all wrong with you and DCR having a preference for seeing the natural landscape without stacked rocks, and I already said as much to DCR, but am not at all sure what it is that you both are suggesting I do. Some people might prefer to see the lagoon area without a tightrope across it...the point you missed in my analogy. Some might feel that dogs have no place in nature. Some might feel that the clay faces you love to find should not be left in nature. Some might feel that the pools themselves are not appropriate in nature. Some might feel that the planting of non-native trees is wrong in nature. I find nothing at all wrong with any of these opinions, but I do not feel that any of these things actually harm nature, and, since so many enjoy them, I feel they are not wrong.

I am glad that rock stacks do not hamper your ability to enjoy the springs.
