The T-6 crossing to DCHS is close to 15 miles away by way of the Pacific Crest Trail. Not much evelation change as the PCT isn't a steep trail. My best guess, is that the T-6 crossing is little higher in altitude because the creek flows from the croassing the hot springs. I don't think there's any drastic elevation change though.
I believe the springs are around 3550'
Lake Arrowhead is at 5114' and the T-6 crossing may be close, but i think a little lower.
Striaght line distance from the hot springs to the T-6 crossing is close to 6.5-miles.
