In order to stop any confussion about my previous post.
After reviewing my handy Forest service map, and remembering those lovely days w/Kelly. 1988-1989
Hook creek apperanty is the lovely creek that runs next to some nice little cabins. The road is called hook creek. But goes down hill to what the map shows to be sheep creek. Sheep creek flows year round, because of the springs up hill from the T-6 crossing.
The splinter cabins Az. mentions are actually two out house rest rooms. Maintained by whoever.
Sheep creek flows @ 1/2 mile below the T-6 before reaching Deep creek. Since the rules Az. posted mentioned the Deep creek drainage area, it could imply by common reasoning to include this area also.
So I admit I was wrong. How ever my map shows this propety to be private property. It belongs to the boy scouts and is called the boy scout camp. This may explain the rule for some. But were did they get the authority to make rules on property not theirs?
Also the devil`s hole seems to be @ 3miles down stream. I don`t remember it that far. Probably the good conversations we had made it seem shorter.
So I agree we should not even be worried about this govenment threat.
I hope this better explains things. :~)
