Laughing Bear, you're correct about what you say of the T-6 crossing. It's way upstream from the hot springs.
One sunny day last winter while exploring some backcountry near Devil's Hole, I came across a sign that indicated that there was a T-6 crossing further upstream along Deep Creek. From all the information I have regarding the T-6 crossing, is that it's a good long distance away from the hot springs. For anyone visiting D.C. Hot Springs, the T-6 crossing shouldn't be of any concern to them.

Gary,
From all the research I've done on Deep Creek, it appears to me that there is an area along a section of Deep Creek that looks to be somewhat populated, or put differently, visited by the general public. Specifically, there are two dirt road crossings (2N26Y & 3N34), the Pacific Crest Trail, some local nearby campground facilities and Splinter Cabin (whatever that is) all somewhat close together where that section of Deep Creek flows, (T-6 crossing).
Deep Creek is a protected wilderness trout stream / area and it originates near Running Springs a small community to the southeast of Lake Arrowhead. It flows for about 23-miles down to the Spillway, (the Mover River Forks Reservoir). There doesn't appear to be any other populated areas or highly used areas by the public along this wilderness creek, except where the T-6 crossing is. Because Deep Creek is rather isolated, that naturist are permitted to utilize most of Deep Creek without a problem, the hot springs is a probably a good example of that.
It may be that at one time, there may have been some conflict or problem regarding nudity where that T-6 is, I don't know for sure and so maybe the USFS was forced to make some rules and regulations regarding nudity in that specific location of Deep Creek. I don't know for sure, but that's my take on it.

USFS regulations indicate that you need to be clothed at least one-quarter mile away from any public crossing such as the spillway downstream 6.6-miles away from the springs.

I hope that helps some.
Enjoy those hot springs!!!
