I just returned from the springs last evening after spending 2 days up there in the high desert. It was hot on both days. The pools were a bit too warm to stay for any length of time, but the creek was wonderful and everyone there was enjoying it. Not too large a crowd there on the 4th and all were very friendly for the most part.
I had to hike out of there in the middle of the day and that was one very hot hike. I am glad I had a little ice chest with me with cold drinks inside.
Okay, I am ready for a prime rib dinner now !!!
