The hot pool in the creek was created by Mother Nature not "built" Az Mike. Playing along with Az Mike's ego trip that he "built" the hot pool in the creek will just give the USFS an excuse to destroy a "man-made structure" when the creek becomes a Wild and Scenic River.

Now, Az Mike filled some of the cracks that allowed hot water to leak out. He might have rolled a rock over to replace what the spring flood had ripped away. But he did not build it. So, it shouldn't be named after him.

The hot pool in the creek should be called Mother Nature's Pool because that is who really created it.
