I apologize to you Gary and other uninvolved parties, however, Laughingbear and I have been having this ongoing repartee about these issues. Laughingbear brought up the past which most people here know nothing about. However, I have to address his activities because he is causing further harm to the public by his comments.
My favorite story is about these three ladies that I met one night (I'm sorry but I love nightime at the springs because I am very fair skinned) at the springs. They had hiked in from the spillway and were looking forward to mooning the moon on this full moon lit night. They shared their memories of the 1960's in San Francisco. One of them had been on the front page of the S.F. Examiner for giving a birthday cake to Patty Hearst during her trial. We enjoyed each other's company immensely.
They eventually all mooned the full moon laying across the rocks on their stomachs their bottoms reflecting the silver moonlight while I took their photograph to remember the event.
They had hiked in from the spillway and were concerned about hiking back as it is a longer hike and they had seen signs of mountain lion along the trail. We all hiked back up together to Moss Mill and I gave them a ride to their vehicle. They were fine ladies and I will never forget them.
