Rick, it's a good question. People seem opposed to making comments to others, but I don't see a problem in telling someone to please smoke somewhere else where the smoke isn't blowing in my face, or to please keep an eye on their dog who is harassing people. Sometimes people need to express their disapproval with others in order to make a point. That's how we can all help change the culture down there. Also, we can set examples ourselves by acting responsibly and respectfully. Every little thing helps. The irony is, if it was more of a police state down there, it would probably be a nicer experience. The teenagers who bring glass, get drunk and loud and leave trash would not be able to do so anymore. That in itself would be worth having a little authority. As for me, I wish I could avoid weekends, but I work all week and don't have much other choice. Maybe when I retire I'll be able to go down there during the week.
