Laughingbear, stop repeating this misinformation. If Nancy Bates had known where her husband had gone of course she would have told the sheriff's office.
"Notice how "Katrina" neglects to mention that Nancy Bates was aware of her husband's destination when he dissapeared and the fact that she failed to inform the USFS or the Sherrif's office of his dissapearance in the area. This lack of action on her part is directly responsible for the delay in finding Ronnie's body. If the search and rescue team had been notified,chances are that Ronnie would have been found sooner. That car would have been found as well."
