I do not know if this Quite Claim Deed is legal or not. Its just something for the courts to ultimately decide, if and when Katrina pursues this issue. I would be interested in what you find out about it Laughing Bear. Also Laughing Bear, I am only linked to the spirit of the reason I donated this money to Katrina, which was to see the Bowen Ranch become a non-profit, meeting, and information center for DCHS and the local area, as an available destination for all visitors. If Katrina and William pursue a differant course with the Bowen Building, considering that they legally show it is owned by them, then that, is not my responsibility. Of course if they are shown to own it. Then the could do anything, within the law, they wished to with it. Even make it just a residence. If you Laughing Bear, donated to the Red Cross, based on your perceptions of there mission of doing good, would you, then be responsible for any illegal, or imoral acts done by the people of the Red Cross, that took your donation? Of course not. The situation regarding me as related to what Katrina and William will do,regarding the Bowen Ranch, is the same. The situation at the Bowen Ranch will not change until Katrina goes to court to determine the legality of her Quite Claim Deed.
