Ron,
Thanks for the clarification on the Mt. bike issue. Like I said, as soon as "da man" told me it was a no-no, I decided to conform. (Actaully it was a cute Forest Service lady... Dang! those cute gals have control over us Neanderthals, don't they?!?!?)
Anyway, I agree, no need to twist words and their meanings. No vehicles means no vehicles, motorized or with pedals. I think it's pretty straight forward and obvious to educated folks.
I may not like the rules, but I find life a lot easier to navigate through when you play by them. And there certainly are correct avenues to use to get the rules changed if you don't agree with them and feel that it's a worthy cause to try and do so.
Off the soap box now... to Ron and the rest of the DCV's:
Y'all have a great time at the springs tomorrow. Do good things... and all that. I'm really curious as to how some of those meetings go after a couple weeks of barbs and jabs on this forum between (I am assuming) members of the DCV group. /
I have to laugh at myself sometimes... I scoff at those poor folks who have nothing better to do than get addicted and watch soap operas all day, or those who get wrapped up in those stupid reality TV shows at night. All of which I stay away from. But I HAVE to get my daily fix of the "goin's on at the Deep Creek Forum!" I find that I'm checking things out a couple of times a day at work, then again at home at night. I'm getting addicted to "As the Deep Creek Flows!" Argh! And what's even more scary... I have one of the bit parts... along with the rest of you! ;o)
We're trapped for another season! I wonder how may seasons the show will run before we're cancelled.
