Sycamore Laughing posted last year that she actually reviewed the documentation and evidence concerning Mike Castro's aggressive and violent acts against the public that was displayed on the DCHS, Inc. website, she has had the opportunity to talk to people at the hotsprings about these issues and she has participated in numerous discussions on this forum. Yet, she has continued to pretend as if there is no reason to be concerned about Mike Castro, and has strongly supported Mike Castro assuring people that he is truly a peaceful person.

This should truly cause people to wonder about Sycamore Laughing's ability to look at these issues with an open mind. Does she believe that all the documents and evidence are made up or created? Does she believe that all these people are lying or Mike was somehow justified in his violence? Is she a person who has any concern about the safety of the public? What is the deal here? What are her motivations?

Based on these observations of Sycamore Laughing, I would have to wonder about her motivations for requesting a personal meeting with me. I have a very good reason to be concerned for my personal safety especially when it come to Mike Castro and his supporters (even if the support is based on ignorance of the truth or deliberate disregard of the facts). Therefore, I declined to have a personal meeting with her. I have never called anyone any names.

I really miss going to the hotsprings and would like to personally talk to people about these issues. However, Mike Castro has conducted acts of violence in the area that could have resulted in death. I will not put myself at unnecessary risk of being his next victim. Put yourself in my hiking boots and decide if you would unnecessarily risk your life in order to personally meet with people.

I am a person of action and have been taking steps to bring this situation to a resolution. However, I am a person who will carefully examine the issues prior to taking any action. The situation involving the Bowen Ranch Building has many aspects that have to be examined and considered. It is complex in itself much less considering the involvement of the government agencies with the resident(s) of the Bowen Ranch. There is a relationship between employees of these government agencies and Mike Castro. This relationship has allowed and authorized Mike Castro's illegal and violent activities in the area. The U. S. Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management have complete knowledge of all of the evidence and documentation about Mike Castro's violence to the public in the area. That should cause any member of the public to be concerned.

However, be assured that steps are being taken toward our goal of making the Bowen Ranch a place that will benefit all persons who visit Deep Creek Hotsprings.
