In thinking about LaughingBear's reply to the Legacy of the Tollgate, his reply just does not add up. How was Laughing Bear going to hold Gary Krower for the cops when the only method of contacting the cops in those days was to go to town and call. There were no "cell phones" in those days.

Laughing Bear said he "chased gary in my truck as far as the turnoff to Bowen Ranch in an attempt to apprehend and hold him for the cops."

How were the cops going to be notified? LaughingBear would have to hold him forever.
