Please don't ride vehicles in to the springs. Bikes of any kind tear up the trails and are also illegal on the Pacific Crest Trail. Loving Deep Creek should mean taking care of the watershed and surrounds. If the Blue Meanies figure we don't really care they might be more inclined to place it off limits or maybe turn it into a retreat for fat cat oil drillers.
The hike in from the spillway is a particularly beautiful one. I've heard that cars parked at the dam get broken into but I guess I've been lucky in the over 100 times I've parked there.
