Jobe, I would agree with the points you made in your post above. Like Jobe, my opinion of Mike Castro has been developed over the span of time he has been in the area, it was not formed quickly. All the information, from an array of differant sources, have painted a picture of a man that can be very friendly and nice when he wants to be, or when your not challenging his agenda, his business. On the other hand, he is also a man that, in my opinion, has gone many times, beyond the bounds of the law, against those people who have spoken up about the unjust deeds done by him in the area. Also those who he deems to be affecting his business, he also defines as targets to be dealt with. I finally, at some point, felt compelled to speak up about all of this here on this forum as evidenced by my first post here as Mojo, and the many other post from that start. I feel that the information brought to light on Katrina's site, and the information discussed here, has created a situation where Mike Castro has a light, of some intensity, focused on his behavior. Because of this light, I believe that Mike Castro, knowing he has more eyes watching what he does, has changed his behavior over time, becoming less active, and less overt about his aggressive acts. He still has his days, like the recent report of him shooting a gun in Gary Roes direction as an act of intimidation. These sites create, to some extent, a web of information sharing through which the experiences of a larger population of the vistitors to DCHS can be considered. I see a forum like this to be the easiest way for all of us to keep in track of issues related to DCHS, to moniter and share information, since we all live so spread out, and our schedules are obviously very differant. Mike Castro needs to conduct himself within the bounds of his rights as a property owner, and in regards to his rights as a public citizen. I write here, partly, because I felt a concerned that the rights of other accessing in the vicinity around the Bowen Ranch were not being respected by Mike Castro. We shall watch, and see, what the future brings in regards to his behavior.
