Maybe 20 cars on a Saturday? That's $80. Maybe the same on a Sunday?
Maybe $200 on a good weekend? Probably half that the rest of the week? And that's probably during the "high" season... if there is one.
I'll bet the guy isn't grossing $1K a month from the troll-toll parking enterprise. I'll bet there's no medical plan retirement, or profit sharing, 401K benefits linked in either ;o)
And I'm SURE (wink, wink....) the dude keeps meticulous records of the vehicles, the amount of money he takes in, expenses, profit. Yep. I'll bet it's all declared as income to the State of California and the IRS, as well.
|I'm not sure I believe it's about the money. Sure wouldn't be worth it to me... patrolling the area, getting "hacked off" at folks who circumvent the property... riding "shotgun", playing the punisher and enforcer as has been claimed, etc. etc.
What else motivates people besides money?
CONTROL, FEAR... I can think of some other words.
