I found Jim Peppers satire in the form of cartoons to be right on target ( and funny ) when it comes to Mike Castro. I don't hold " any " prejudice against " any " culture or race. People should be judged on the merits of thier personal character. The focus of Jim's cartoons were Mike Castro. I don't serriously think there are any Mexicans out there losing sleep over Jim Peppers cartoons :-) Laughing Bear, who suggested a smooth ride, on graded road, to a free parking area ? I do know recently you said you envisioned, in the future, access to free parking by two wheel drive vehicles. I am not even talking about that. I have never suggested changing the condition of the routes, or suggested making new ones. I drive extra distances on unmaintained roads to get to where I go ( which is fine with me ), and go many places in the canyons and hills around DCHS, that people would never think of going, not because all of that is easy, but because I find it interesting to do so. I recently made a suggestion that the Route 3 trail possibly be made an official forestry trail. I gave the points why I thought this would make sense. The Bowen Crew then get on thier propoganda wagon and try and disparage me trying to imply that " I " am the cause of the ills at DCHS which as a notion, is utter nonsense. They also try to imply that my mere mentioning of the open routes in discussion here at this forum is like some big bill board inviting the masses to wreck DCHS, again, utter nonsense. Use the search engine Yahoo and put in Bowen Ranch if you want to see some " real " advertisement. Put in Wizard, and let me know if you find " one " single reference about me. If you spend time looking at the sites under " Deep Creek Hot Springs " and under " Bowen Ranch " you will find various excerpts that show that Mike Castro,s activity has been about promoting the Bowen Ranch as a desination to access DCHS, his efforts are about advertising DCHS, for more visitation, for more money. Look through them all, see if you can find my name mentioned. So if they want to potray me falsely to visitors at the Peyton Place Ranch then I will respond by discussing the " real " state of affairs. Laughing Bear, I think if you were the target of these folks, and they were disparaging you verbally to others, I think you would have something to say about it. Thier verbal attacks on me are wrong. My post here are responses to thier activity. Why can't they come out in the " light " of this forum to speak thier minds. Because, thier arguments are nonsense, and they would show themselves, and thier thoughts, for what they truly are.
