I was advised that the comments made from the various members of the public on the WEMO Plan are public record and can be requested from the BLM. In addition, I understand that some of the private land owners in the area are requesting a 1/2 mile buffer around their properties to be off limits to the public.

In the Western Mojave Desert Off Road Vehicle Designation Project, Environmental Assessment and Draft CDCA Plan Amendment, page 14, "Visitors can camp at Bowen Ranch, a private facility, and at locations throughout the National Forest to the south. Many visitors access Deep Creek Hot Springs in the National Forest from the Juniper Flats area."

In other words, the BLM is not providing any facilities to recreational users in the area. The BLM is endorsing the Bowen Ranch as providing the facilities to recreational users.

What facilities? No outhouses, no bathrooms, no facilities.
