Hello Gary, As I was driving home this evening the weather report on 1070 news radio said that a storm is coming and rain will be in the So Cal area late in the day on Friday, and on into Saturday. From what I have heard from other reports you will most likely be ok and dry on your Friday hike to DCHS. I heard from Ron that you are intending on heading back out of the canyon around 2PM which most likely will be before the rains come. Since its it the desert up here the rain usually comes latter than the news reports, and sometimes not at all. I am hoping the hills get another good dose of rain, the hills are really green with lots of flower right now :-) Have Fun!
