Concerning a waterfall and cave, there is a place called the Water Caves which is a canyon that is filled with large granite boulders. The water flowing down this canyon cascades in places in various cave like spaces within this jumble of decomposed granite. You used to be able to drive to this spot but now you must walk about a mile from 3N14. The water does not always flow there so spring is the best time to see the various small waterfalls. Its not an easy place to describe how to get to. When you turn left onto 3N14 from the Bowen Ranch road you drive about two thirds of a mile to the top of the first big hill then the road gets less steep and continues east. After clearing the top of this hill while going east, within about a half mile, as I remember you can look off to your left and see this canyon full of big boulders. Its about a mile and a half off in the distance. You can park anywhere that looks good along 3N14 to hike over to the canyon. There is a fence along the road in this area to stop vehicles from going cross country. You can also see the canyon with boulders from the Bowen Ranch road in one spot. Its an interesting place and takes time to explore since its a bit difficult to get around to see everything.
