Your bustin me up with that insect repellant that doesn't work Sam, 48 bites, yikes :-) My wife and I were down there with friends on Saturday and there are still some no see-ems around as you say. My wife and I both got some bites. At least there's not as many of them as there were a few months back. I talked with a regular Saturday who has been frequenting the springs since the early 70's and he said that this year is the first year he remembers having that type of biting insect. Before all we had to deal with was the skeeters and the knats. When my brother lived out in Kingman, Arizona those no see-ems would get so thick it would be terrible. They would swarm your head and ears and you just couldn't get away from them. Hopefully thier visit to DCHS ends soon!
