Re: BLM WEMO OHV plans

I knew this lawsuit was coming as I attended some of those meetings held by the BLM and am familiar with CORVA's opinion on the WEMO Plan. I knew they were going to be filing this lawsuit.

The plan has been in the works for years, however, the BLM intentionally did not inform the public about these plans or about their impact upon the public. I specifically requested to be informed of every meeting and was intentionally not kept informed. The people who enjoy Deep Creek should have been informed of these meetings so that you could choose to participate or not. These plans were hidden and have a tremendous impact upon the public and private land owners.

The BLM are required to seek public participation in these plans and they intentionally kept these plans and meetings hidden from affected public.

I believe that the best outcome is the result of the participation of all interested parties and viewpoints just like FLPMA (Federal Land Policy and Management Act) requires the BLM to do when forming management plans. In this case FLPMA was not followed and has resulted in legal conflict.
