So...
I have been reading some of these threads off and on in this forum lately. And saw other stories about Mike Castro, etc. on the DCHS site... which seems to be off somewhere in the ether now. And I heard more stories and opinions from you folks when I was at the Springs for the volunteer clean up a couple of weeks ago.
And it all makes for entertaining reading and listening...
However, when did all this happen? Wasn't it like 5 years ago? Give it up already! Digging this up time and time again, and debating isn't really going to change anything is it? And is all the wrangling one way or another going to change anyone's opinion? A wise man once said: "A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still."
My suggestion...
Katrina... move on! Get a life and worry about something else, like why you love or why you hate the war with Iraq. Go down to the springs, soak, relax, make some new friends, and find some peace and give the rest of us some peace. To the rest... let's quit "rising to the bait."
By the way... mind if I say again what a neat place Deep Creek Hot Springs is? That I think it's one of the two best hot springs I've ever been to. Just thought I'd throw that in to try and move things back to the positive end of the sprectrum.
Keep on volunteering, keep the place clean, pack out more junk than you pack in, leave the place cleaner than you found it, "Take only photographs, Leave only footprints", etc. etc.
Good day to all. I'm flying back to the LA area for a couple of days this coming week... I wonder if I should stay a bit longer on Friday and make another sojourn to the springs....
Regards,
Gary
