Was the car left at the Bowen Ranch, Ronnie bates own personal car or a rental car. If the car was rented, why did he drive a rented car to the Bowen Ranch. In a post above the title states that " Car reported missing 1-19-97 ". So Mrs. Bates new when she made this report what car Ronnie was driving. If the police, when this report was taken did go talk to Mike Castro why didn't they look for the car Mrs. Bates reported missing on the Bowen Ranch property. Was the car towed by then already. If so, who had it towed and to where was it towed. These are among the many questions that come to my mind about this mans dissappearance. Why the missing mans car was turned in about 3 months later by Mike Castro is an aspect of this case that I have not seen adequatly explained yet. Mrs Bates needed Perry Mason back on 1-19-97!
