This is your reasonable explanation? Mike Castro wanted to steal a dead man's car? Couldn't he tell that it was a rental car? Has he done this with any other vehicle left at the Bowen Ranch Parking Lot?
What if it were you and let's say you fell or somehow seriously injured yourself down there at Deep Creek, would you expect Mike Castro to not report anything about your car left abandoned at the parking lot, while you suffered and maybe died down there, then the creatures eat your body, and Mike Castro is in the meantime planning to steal your car through lien sale.
Reasonable?
