Since the Ronnie Bates disappearance occurred some time ago, the only person who appears may pursue the question of what happened is his wife who feels Mike Castro may have had something to do with it. I personally would have no way of deciding presently if Mike Castro was involved since there realistically to my mind is no " solid proof " showing this that I know of. I find the situation of the car being at the Bowen Ranch for a few months rather odd. For myself I would feel that there will be no specific progress towards an answer to the question of what happened to Ronnie Bates untill some new evidence comes to light. Aside from new evidence we can conjecture about it, but it will most likely not change anything about this case. Related to the other information about Mike Castro that Katrina has put at her website and of which she discusses here at the forum, I hope that out of all of this discussion that hopefully in some form, better relations between all parties can occur, at least to the extent that aggressive acts are diminished by better understanding of the issues through discussion here at this forum, at DCHS or elsewhere. There may very well never come a point where all parties of these incidents become " great " friends but perhaps at least a more legal aproach, in terms of behavior, can be an achievable goal.
