PS: I applaud you for seeking help concerning this violent incident in your past. That was a healthy decision. I have also heard from others concerning Pope Don's irratic behavior. However, your recent statements concerning the current violence in the DCHS area have the appearance of supporting the violent aggressor (Mike Castro) and attacking the victims of the violence. This support of the violent aggressor is not healthy for the visitors of DCHS and is further empowering Mike Castro. You are right, someone may end up seriously hurt or dead. Several people already have been seriously hurt by Mike Castro's violent aggressive actions in the area.

I have been visiting the DCHS area since 1992. It took me six years before I decided to take a stand against the violence. It was after the discovery of Ronnie Bates' jawbone and the confrontation on the road between Mike Castro and the four young people that I made a decision to speak out about these issues. My prior silence did not reduce the violence. My prior silence allowed the violence to escalate.
