There is substantial documentation to support my allegation that Mike Castro is a confidential informant for the government. Numerous letters from the Bureau of Land Management stating that there is a confidential informant in the area, that Mike Castro has been extensively involved with the BLM over several years and involving several offices and that we would have to pay over 7 thousand dollars to get copies of all documents within their offices concerning Mike Castro and Fred Moss. Then the LA Times article where the Forest Service and BLM state that Mike Castro enforces the law up at the Deep Creek area. Then the numerous violent crimes that Mike Castro has been involved with where the victims have gone appropriately to law enforcement and received no assistance whatsoever. It appears that Mike Castro is "above the law" even for such serious crimes as attempted murder.
To equate my reporting of code enforcement violations to a county supervisor representative as making me a government informant is laughable. In addition, I have never gotten away with any crimes, but I don't commit very many crimes either.
LaughingBear, I am glad to hear that you tried to help your neighbor, Mike. I have to admit his particular situation is beyond my capability to help. I can understand that the condition of his property is a problem that needs to be resolved.
As far as this big secret that changes everything concerning Mike Castro shooting towards a hiker on public land, I really can't imagine anything that would justify Mike Castro's actions.
