I agree Rick, access and hiking distance from Bowen Ranch and JF3 will probably remain the same. Any proposed wilderness boundaries will be adjacent or in close proximity to Bowen Ranch private property.
Regarding the proposed new Forest Service Plan, maybe Ron or Wizard could contact Brad Burns. Since DCV has established a good relationship with him, he would be a good choice to ask about how the proposed Plan wil affect Deep Creek. It could be a possible future DCV Agenda item. It would be good to know when a draft Plan will be available for review and comment.
