For the record, Gail aka Katrina has never called code enforcement on anyone. My exact words were "Believe me complaints about these code violations were made to the County Supervisor's office and Code Enforcement and NOTHING WAS DONE." The code violations were reported by me to a representative at the county supervisor's office. The representative of the supervisor was told that there was nothing that code enforcement could do about the unhealthful situation. Unequal enforcement by the county violates the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Other people have contacted code enforcement about their concerns. This is a campground where thousands of people camp to access DCHS and are exposed to fecal coliform on the ground.

The outhouse located at DCHS, Inc. headquarters is an outhouse with a deep large pit underneath, has a door to keep out flies and prevent dogs from spreading the fecal matter and is layered in dirt and lime. The county code permits outhouses at residences that are not connected to the sewer and city water system.

What we are talking about at the Bowen Ranch is not even an outhouse. Not even a deeply dug pit. The thousands of visitors are left on their own abilities and intelligence to figure out how to deal with their waste. Some people are ill prepared to dispose of their waste in a sanitary manner. Many many people just do their thing right on top of the ground. The dogs come by and eat some of it. The toilet paper blows away. The rain spreads around the fecal matter all over the rest of the area.
Tell me LaughingBear, what effect could fecal matter have on a human being coming in contact with it? Even if you go around the Bowen Ranch, your words are still protective of Mike Castro's illegal, unhealthy criminal business, why? Need to keep the peace? Don't like ducking?
