First if you consider all the people who have visited DCHS in the last 30 years, out of all those people, two may, or may not have contracted this Ameoba at DCHS. I don't think even these two cases have been proven to be caused by swimming at DCHS, just suspected. Even if the two cases were a result of contact with ameobas at DCHS the people affected may also have had special circumstances, like weakened imune systems or some other condition which caused them to be suseptible. I think realistically you would be more likely to die in your car driving to DCHS than you would be in peril of ever contracting this very rare condition.
