I see nothing in that report that is convincing evidence that the infection came from Deep Creek. The patient had just returned from India, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Fiji and the Cook Islands. The patient also swam in the San Juan River, Lake Powell, and Pah Tempe Hot Springs.
