Really, I didn't think my logic would baffle anyone who has been reading a while. About William and his gun...remember the speculation that AZ Mike's small size and the claim that he owns a gun was enough "evidence" to show that he is dangerous? Oh, and the fact that he got too mad about his posts being edited and posted and emailed some angry statements.
As for the Mohave Dam, you are right that no one claims that Mike Castro vandalizes cars there. You say that cars get vandalizes there often. You also say that cars in the area near Bowen Ranch get vandalized frequently, only if the cars are near Bowen Ranch, you say that it must be Mike Castro because he wants his four dollars. Well, that logic doesn't follow unless you then assume the same about the Mohave Dam vandalism. Those of you who read my post and laughed are the ones who got it.
Think about it. You'll get it. Some people want control of land they did not purchase and do not have a right to. That is a greed motive in my opinion, even if they do claim that they would not charge people. That motive tells me more than all your scare tactics. I am just sad that the whole mess makes DCV look bad in the public eye. No one is making Mike Castro look bad because reasonable people will make their own judgement and not believe everything they hear on the internet. I have hung around the gate to observe Mike Castro a few times now, and have witnessed his manner when talking with people around the campground at times that he did not know I was observing. Thank you for suggesting that he needs to be watched. I have watched and my respect for him has grown.
But the Bowen Ranch property does lie right between the village and the trail to the springs, so I understand why people who live there or in the vicinity would wish that they could get past that property without having to pay or hike all the way around.
I am not afraid of Mike Castro. I am not worried about my own access. I just wish that the ranting against him would stop because it makes the whole area look bad in the public eye, and it reflects poorly on the DCV. I joined the DCV because I believe we can do some good. I've resumed posting after the changes in login requirements that banned AZ Mike and kept me off for a week because I believe there is the potential for something positive to result from this forum in spite of its affiliation with Katrina Island and the use of it to trash Mike Castro and accuse him of anything you can think of.
But maybe I am wrong.
