There are numerous people who have experienced Mike Castro's violence over the years. Some of these people are afraid to talk about their experience for fear of repercussions. Some of these people still want to go to the springs and feel that if they speak they would no longer feel safe to enjoy DCHS. Some people just decide that paying Mike Castro the toll is the least hassle. Some people just run for their lives especially after filing a report with the Sheriff's Department only to be told that there is not enough evidence to file charges, even when there are five witnesses. Gary Roe was told by the DA that if he only had a video tape of Mike Castro's chase and his resulting motorcycle crash.

I have talked to many many people and there are still stories that you have not heard. I have personally spoken to one of the guys who was left for dead at El Mirage Lake by Mike Castro, David Boyer and others. He will never be the same again as he received permanent brain damage from the incident. He still fumes with anger. His attempted murder was covered up as a "drunk rollover". He does not access the internet or maybe he would tell you his story himself.

Then there is Ronnie Bates all that was left was his jawbone. Why did Mike Castro wait over three months to report his abandoned vehicle? That three months were crucial to the investigation into Ronnie's death. Why did Mike Castro provide evasive answers when asked about the car. He stated that someone was paying him longterm storage for the vehicle. Why???????????????????

Just recently I met someone for the first time and he told me a story about Mike Castro harassing him. He said he had been going to the springs for a long time over 10 years, had been friends with Mike Castro. He said that on several occasions at the Bowen Ranch he had observed Mike Castro going into tirades with certain individuals. He said Mike Castro was really out of control and the people would leave just shaking with fear. He would try to calm Mike down afterwards. Anyway, then one time he was down there with his teenage son when there were some other teenagers down there misbehaving. They were alleged to have cut down trees and were burning them. Another caring hotspringer hiked up and reported this activity to Mike Castro.

When this guy hiked up to the Bowen Ranch, Mike Castro accused him no questions asked of being the person involved in the misbehavior. He said that Mike Castro became Judge, jury and executioner. He said that Mike Castro would not allow him to present his side of the incident or any witnesses. From then on, Mike Castro treated him as a convicted criminal. The last message he received from Mike Castro was that he was no longer welcome to go through the ranch and park.

I would hope that all hotspringers would be concerned about the safety of themselves and others in the area. I encourage everyone to carry a camera, video camera or tape recorder just in case. Any further evidence would be of great help to exposing Mike Castro's violent nature.

I am very happy to see that some people are really connecting the dots to the mismanagement of the area by the public agencies involved.

Sycamore Laughing and all, I would be available to meet people in person if I didn't believe that my life would be at risk. I believe Mike Castro is completely capable of murder and if he could make it look like an accident or get away with it, he would kill me. I really believe that. Since Sycamore Laughing has shown complete support of Mike Castro, I can't trust that she may not tell him if we were to have a face to face meeting and jeopardize my life. I haven't met Sycamore Laughing and don't know her so I do not know if she is just totally fooled by Mike Castro or if she advocates Mike Castro's violence in the DCHS area.

I wish that I could meet everyone in person so we could have the benefit of looking into each other's eyes and souls. However, I am not one to take unnecessary and foolish risks with my life.
