Celtfire's last response infers to what Gail has been saying all along.. that Mike Castro is an informant for the BLM and is paid by them to ensure that there is no "trouble" at Deep Creek. Apparently, Mike Castro and BLM Ranger Barry Nelson have a "cozy" relationship. You throw in all the controversy with the alleged corruption in the San Bernardino County Sheriff's office and you end up with some issues that sound a lot alike co-dependency to me. I had historically been told that part of the money Mike collects goes to the BLM or Forest service. I don't believe that's true. Mike wants his access money. His perception is you shouldn't try to sneak around his property without paying his fee. My understanding is that there are pictures showing Mike behaving violently toward someone on Bowen Ranch Road. The proof is in the pudding folks... get your cameras and start documenting.
