Pardon my initial burst at posting my view on night soaks. The reasons everyone posted make sense in regards to protecting both the place as well the wildlife living there.
Made my first visit to the DCHS this weekend with a close friend who shared this special spot with me. I had a great time, and met a view locals, learned some history and saw why wanting to protect this spot from crazies and closure keeps those passionate for the area doing the work to keep it there for a long time. Thanks to all that met me.
Hope to make many a trip up from San Diego a pay my respects to the land and those who tread softly on the Earth.
