Bark Beetle : " Were losing our forest "

This was the title of a front page article today in the local High Desert paper called the Daily Press. The article discusses the devastation being wreaked on the local forest by the bark beetle and the extended drought. The article also discusses the very high fire danger that will be present next summer due to all the dead trees and the overgrowth that has developed due to fire management policies implemented by fire agencies in recent decades. Maybe Rick or Katrina could put a link to this article here at the forum for others to read. I don't know how to set up a link.
