I have always been part of the group in spirit (well in my own spirit -- probably no one else in the group knew my spirit was there). Unfortunately I live a little too far away from the springs to be a regular member. Also, the last two times I visited the springs I ran into first theft and then vandalism. That pretty much rained on my Deep Creek parade. I love the place, dream of it often (literally) and wish I could go back, but I'll have to be on the sidelines. I think it's a great idea though to form the group.

As for the sign, you guys should get an Eagle Scout candidate to build it as an Eagle project. I think they would be into doing that.
