Thanks Sycamore for your very detailed posts. I will try to fill a few more details and answer some of your questions.
We did discuss the modification process. I was propossing presenting accumulating changes and presenting them once every six month. Other felt we should do so more often, however most agreed that every month is too often. So I would say the concensus would be somewhere around every two or three months if we have changes. Modifictions would need to be agreed to by members and the presented the the USFS.
In regards to the internal document, I have already incorporated some of these modifications and shared it with all our members via email.
When we were discussing the website option Ruth mentioned that Terra could help with it.
I think Mike's sugestion of the potluck was for the clean up day. You also appear to coincide in the very first post of this thread.
The idea of accepting minors as members was with the intention of giving the participation.
I see LaughingBear's point in allowing a minor participation before they are 18, however I feel that there must be an age limit. Should we consider legal driving age, 14, 12 or what age? In addition to age we discussed the issue that if we can no longer contact a member because his email is no longer responding and he does not respond to letters sent to his address he will be dropped from our membership list. It was suggested that we should do so after a month. I felt this was hard to track and that a period of three months would be more convenient. We agreed that that person could rejoin by supplying new contact information.
Can anyone else think of anything that we have not covered? Thanks again Sycamore for taking thr notes and posting them for us.
