5. We are scheduling our spring clean-up day to coincide with our meeting at the end of March. This gives us one meeting in Feb. to plan it, plus of course the forum. AZ Mike suggested that we make it a potluck to promote cameraderie among DCV members and friends. I wasn't clear if he meant a potluck on the cleanup day or on our next meeting day, but I will email him and find out since he cannot post. Ron will contact Ranger Brad to see if the USFS can and will help in any way with our cleanup.
We agreed that, since everyone present has met Scott and Matt, we can consider them members. Since Matt is a minor, he will not have voting rights, but we agreed that minors can be full-fledged members. We also agreed that Scott can have voting rights even though he has not attended an official meeting, because everyone present has met him, and the purpose of the meeting requirement is recognition.
That's all I have on the minutes. Non-DCV members are welcome to comment on any of these items, and are encouraged to do so!
