Closing a thread does not prevent a person from starting a new one. If someone was posting with a negative message, and the thread they were posting to was closed, they could simply start a new thread on the subject. What is a negative post, and what is a postitive one? Its a matter of opinion, point of view. Someone might view there post as being simply a response, and the person they responded to may term it as a negative post. The waters are very muddy when it comes to asigning a name like negative or postite to a post. I was just wondering if there is some specific criteria that determines when a thread is closed.
