If I remember correctly, the post done by the person recently to bring this thread back from the " dusty past " said that Jim Pepper was his Dad. There was suspicion by some people back at the time Jim Pepper died that his death might not have been natural, but could have been due to other nefarious causes somehow related to his fued with Mike Castro. But it was deemed a heart attack so nothing more came of it. Related to this in one of my last conversations with Jim I vaguely remember now that this subject has been brought up, that he had told me he was experiencing some problems with his heart. It happens, my Dad died of a heart attack when he was 49 years old.
