Just got back from a nice trip up to Northern California ( Redding area ) to see my brother and to see our property up there. I'm just looking at my e-mails since I left and there is one from AZ, it reads " Go sick DCV up where sun doesn't shine ", thats just how it is written. Well we can assume sick is stick and a " the " is left out between where and sun. Well its Xmas eve, and its good to know AZ is spreading the Christmas Cheer all around, here at my home and on the DCHS forum as well :-) Great trip up north. Hit Redding Friday night and it was a complete downpour when we arrived. Fortunatly the weather turned out great for our stay, Saturday through Monday. There was fresh snow in the mountains surrounding the town of Redding and the rivers were all running full. The moon was a bueatiful sight in the evenings. From my brothers home you can see Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen, both of them are volcanoes and they were both covered in thick snow. My wife and I took a walk with the Munchkins down along the Sacramento river and we went out on a foot bridge which spans its flow. We saw enormous Salmon down below, they were huge and they reminded me of dolphins the way they swiftly moved through the strong current, breaking the surface of the water from time to time! Glad we hit a dry spell between storms so we could enjoy the magnificent scenery. I took some pictures and if there are some good ones I'll put them at the Wizard's pictures link below for those of you interested, to check out. Happy Holidays to all of you on the DCHS forum and to the members of the DCV group too :-)
