Hello Steve, The USFS would say that nudity is " accepted practice " within the Deep Creek drainage, any areas that would drain into the Deep Creek canyon. This is the position of the USFS, not of the sherrifs dept, BLM, Fish and Game or other Dept. that could " possibly affect " that USFS forest area. The history of the DCHS hotsprings and surrounding area is that it has been allowed and tolerated. However, I had an apparently close call will hiking with my children last summer, while I was within the Deep Creek drainage. If you look at the " Thread List " link below, next to the pink dots, you can find a story of my experience in thread number 3057. You can also read further discussion of this subject in thread number 3110 and 3142. If you will look into these threads, I think you will begin to see that things are not as clear and simple, as they might seem to be at DCHS, as I found out last summer. DCHS is still a great, and reasonably safe place to enjoy naturism, with other like minded souls :-)
