a few friends and i are looking to spend a quiet evening at a nice natural hot spring in southern cali for new year's eve. we're pretty new to this and just found out about deep creek hot springs online tonight. i have a few questions here maybe some of you can answer.

will the springs be open on new year's eve?
will the roads be ok to drive on given recent weather conditions?
do we need to reserve camp space at bowen ranch?
if so, from whom? is there a number we can contact?
do we need to reserve a day to hike in?
what else do we need besides the adventure pass and toll fee at bowen ranch?
what's the best route to go into the area?
where's the best place place to camp?

thanks a lot. we'd really appreciate any other suggestions you might have for us.
