Ranger Brad Burns is already aware of the rash problem from last year. He asked me about it in one of my phone calls to him. I think if the USFS considered this problem to be a serious threat then they might take some action. They probably see this situation as merely a nuisance to hotspringers who do longer soaks. All the people I talked to at the springs last year about this rash problem said that the syptoms went away rather quickly, in 24 to 48 hours. Katrina's information that she is continueing to have a problem with a rash for a longer period is the first time I've heard of a more lengthy term of syptoms. Her continueing syptoms, may, or may not be related to the initial rash. We did have about a 4 year spell of little rain and runoff so perhaps if we get good rains this winter it may clear this problem up. We can always hope :-)
