Since the cause is not clear, any remedy is just a guess at this point. If the rashes are because of high alkalinity then cleaning the pools will make no differance. The Womb and the Serenity pool cannot be completely drained anyway. Anything beyond simple scrubing or vacuming should be referred to the USFS. Since the rashes were also a problem last year I would doubt that thier orgins was an allergic reaction to plant material. Hopefully if we get alot of rain this season, maybe this will alleviate the problem.
