Nev. Naturist,

I don't know if Naegleria Fowleri is the same as Bacterium Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, but from what I can make of it so far, seems to be the same because of they are both present in water on earth.

I to went and did a Google search on the subject matter of Bacterium Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, (BPA). It is a bacteria that comes from the earths natural environment which is through the soil and water, but it also comes from the surface of plants and sometimes from the surface of some animals but to a lesser degree. What I am particularly interested in and also question is, from what kind of animals does BPA come from???? Dogs???

In the past there has been discussion about people permitting their pets into the warm pools and the dislike of that activity, a dislike of mine to. I am curious to know if dogs can have BPA of the surface of their bodies???? Have not seen any info. on that yet. If they can have BPA then they may be the source of bacteria being introduced into the pools we all soak in at the springs.

You mention that the amoeba, (Naegleria Fowleri) is deadly, ...... yes that is true, but mostly to those who have weaker immune systems than a normal healthy adults.

As far as I am concerned and feel about this rash thing that some are experincing, is that 3 of the 5 warm pools, (Anniversary Pool and the 2 pools below it), all share the same warm water. The water is fed to these 3 pools from the source coming from under the Pacific Crest Trail, (PCT), but passes by that pool of stagnate water behind the hot springs. Question is whether or not that stagnate water is somehow mixing in with the source water flowing down through that aqueduct that feeds the 3 pools below. Thee other 2 pools (the Arizona Pool and Crab Cooker) are fed by sources from extremely close distances away from them, especially the Crab Cooker, never a problem in either of these pools.

I truely do not believe this rash thing has to do with water coming from any past fires in the area or the water coming out of any of the fissures feeding the pools. That water is pure and safe as far as I am concerned. Whatever is causing the rash problem comes from people and their bad habits.
