AZ, I understand what your saying now. Fill in that void under the cliff by filling it in with sand, or rocks and sand. That void does collect alot of debris and having the level of the bottom of the pool maybe high enough to stand on the bottom would make it easier to clean and provide more places to stand against the cliff without compromising the depth too much. I know that pool has in the past had a bottom that was more filled in. I think Tallahasse Joe has sucked alot of the sand that was on the bottom out while doing his cleaning. After the high water of the big El Nino of the early ninties the Womb was about half full of sand and mud. I think using clean sand for something like this would be the best. It would provide a bottom that was easier to clean and a flatter surface to stand on and I don't think the USFS would have a problem with adding a bit of sand to the bottom of that pool. If sand was added someone should let Joe know to not suck it all out again. I'll help out if it seems like a good idea to others here. A project like that would best be done on a day with few visitors because adding the sand would make the water dirty for while till it settled.
